The Chevrolet Chevelle was an American passenger car of the middle and upper middle class and the so-called Muscle Cars, which was presented to the public for the first time in 1963. Its serial production took place in the years 1964-1977. The car was powered - depending on the version - with an engine with a capacity of 3.5 to 7.4 liters. Production took place in the United States in plants located in many cities of this country, for example in: Atlanta, Baltimore or Flint. The Chevelle model was developed by the General Motors Company and was sold under the Chevrolet brand in connection with significant changes on the US automotive market, which took place in the early 1960s. Chevrolet Chevelle was offered in various body styles, such as: coupe, convertible, sedan and convertible. The car was produced in the course of its three generations, the last of which was produced in 1973-1977. It is assumed that the Chevelle model was one of the most successful and popular in the Chevrolet range.
