Revell 04215 Airbus A 319

The Airbus A319 is a mid-range, low-wing, twin-engine jet airliner, primarily French-German production. The drive is provided by two turbofan engines CFM International CFM56 or IAE V2500. The flight of the prototype took place in 1995, and serial production started in 1996 and is still going on. In 2014, 1,389 machines out of 1,395 were still in service. The Airbus A319 was created as a machine that was to be offered primarily to European and Asian carriers as a competitor to the Boeing 737-300 and 737-700 aircraft. It focuses primarily on high automation of the aircraft, maximum reduction of operating costs, as well as high reliability. A dozen or so versions of this aircraft were created in the course of serial production. One of the most interesting is the A319-LR version, which was developed for the use of Qatar Airlines and has a range extended to 8,300 km. A version of the A319-MPA was also developed, which is designed as a naval patrol aircraft to compete with the Boeing P-8 Poseidon.
