DKW Munga is a Nenets military off-road vehicle from the post-war period. It was developed in the mid 1950s, and serial production continued in 1956-1968. As a result, about 46,500 cars of this type were produced. The truck is powered by a single 0.9 or 1 liter engine.

DKW Munga was developed for the needs of the West German army (German Bundeswehr), which began to form in the mid-1950s and demanded a completely new off-road vehicle. The new car was developed by the Ingolstadt-based DKW, which in turn was owned by the Auto-Union (Audi) company. The DKW Munga was a car with very good off-road characteristics, but it required careful servicing. Otherwise, it turned out to be an unreliable car, subject to frequent breakdowns. The vehicle was used by the Bundeswehr, but also by the West German border guards. It was also used in South Africa and Brazil. It also entered the civilian market, where it was used for work in difficult field conditions, e.g. in forestry.
