Fiat 500 Topolino (owned by the mouse) is an Italian passenger car from the interwar period, World War II and the early post-war period. The first copies of this car appeared in 1936, and serial production continued in 1936-1955. About 520,000 copies of this vehicle were produced in its course. The drive was provided by a single engine with a capacity of 0.6 liters and 13 HP.
The first copies of the Fiat 500 Topolino were presented in 1936 for the civil market. The car was a two-seater with a very low curb weight (only 535 kilograms in the first production batch!) And small dimensions. The purchase and operating costs were also relatively low. Even before 1939, a license for its production was purchased by the French Simca plants and the German NSU. At the outbreak of World War II, many of these cars were mobilized and served as staff cars for Italian and German military officers, especially during the 1940-1943 North African campaign. Serial production of the car lasted until 1955, and after World War II, two improved versions were introduced: Fiat 500B and Fiat 500C.
