MS Color Magic is a contemporary ferry built in a Finnish shipyard. The keel for this unit was laid in 2006, the launch took place in September 2007, and the commissioning took place in the same year. MS Color Magic was built at the Aker Finnyards shipyard, and its production was carried out at the plants in Rauma, Finland. Currently, the owner of the ferry is the Norwegian shipping line Color Line, and the ferry operates between the cities of Oslo in Norway and Kiel in Germany. It is currently the largest ferry of its class in the world, and its sister unit is the slightly smaller MS Color Fantasy. The ship has over 1,000 passenger cabins, including 54 luxury suites.
