The drive is provided by a single Caterpillar C18 Euro 3 engine with 750 HP. This engine accelerates the car with a maximum weight of 11.8 tons to 80 km / h in 31 seconds. In turn, the maximum speed reaches 115 km / h. The presented fire truck was developed by the Austrian company Rosenbauer AG, which was founded in 1866 and currently has its headquarters in the city of Leonding. At present, it is one of the largest companies in the world dealing in the design and production of specialized fire trucks. The Rosenbauer Panther car is characterized by very high mechanical efficiency, reliability, but also all-wheel drive (6x6), which allows it to ride freely in the field. The vehicle is also capable of handling up to 14,000 liters of extinguishing agent at one time. The official website of the manufacturer also informs that the efficiency of the pump mounted on the wagon reaches 9000 liters per minute! The Roll Stability Control system can also be installed on the car.
