The B-13 is the designation for the Soviet 122mm S-13 unguided missile launcher. The basic model of the B-13 launcher, designated B-13L, is 3.56 meters long and weighs 160 kg before loading with rockets. It is capable of carrying up to 5 S-13 rockets. A modernized version of the launcher was also created, designated B-13L1, the length of which was reduced by 50 centimeters and the weight dropped to 140 kilograms. Interestingly, the modernized launcher was still able to take up to 5 missiles. It is worth noting that the 122 mm S-13 unguided missile was developed for the needs of the Soviet military aviation in the 1970s, and its main purpose was to destroy surface targets such as fortified resistance points, airport buildings, permanent command points, etc. The missile entered service in 1983 and is used in the military aviation of the Russian Federation to this day. It can be carried by such aircraft as: Mil Mi-24, Mil Mi-28, Kamow Ka-50, Su-25, Su-27 or MiG-29.
