Bellanca CH-300 Pacemaker was an American high-wing multipurpose aircraft that was first flown in 1929. In total, about 65 examples of this machine were built. The plane was 8.5 meters long with a wingspan of 14.1 meters. The drive was provided by a single Wright J-6 engine with a power of up to 330 HP. The top speed was 266 km / h. The machine did not have on-board weapons.

Model The CH-300 Pacemaker was developed as an evolution of the CH-200, also produced by the Bellanca Aircraft Company. Compared to its predecessor, it received primarily a different engine with more power and other minor design changes. However, the general aerodynamic assumptions remained unchanged. The Bellanca CH-300 turned out to be a very successful design, and its greatest advantages were the ability to fly over long distances, reliability, considerable take-off weight and the overall strength of the structure. In the 1930s, this airplane set several flight endurance records for this class of machine, as well as for take-offs with maximum load. The machine also went down in history of Lithuanian aviation, because it was on a heavily modernized plane of this type that Steponas Darius and Stasys Girenas flew over the Atlantic, although they paid for their feat with their lives in a plane crash.
