RS Models 92204 C 4 + C 104 Double kit

The Aero C-104 was a Czechoslovakian training aircraft from the Cold War period. It was a biplane machine with a fixed undercarriage. The drive in the basic version was provided by a single engine Walter Minor 4-III with 105 hp . The prototype flight took place in 1946. The production of these aircraft lasted in the years 1946-1949 and led to the creation of about 160 machines of this type. The plane did not have permanent weapons.

During the Second World War, the Aero factory produced a very successful German-made training aircraft: Bücker Bü 131 D Jungmann. Production of this aircraft continued shortly after the end of hostilities, but its designation was changed to Aero C-4. It still had the same engine as the Jungmann, that is the Hirth HM 504. In 1946, however, the power unit of this aircraft and its designation were changed - to C-4A, and later to Aero C-104. Initially, the C-4 and C-104 planes were used to train pilots in the Czechoslovak military aviation, but with the development of jet aircraft, their usefulness in training decreased sharply. Hence, from the end of the 1950s, they began to be used by civilian users.
