The Delahaye 135 (another name: Coupe des Alpes) is a French passenger sports car that was first presented to the public in 1935. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 1954. It is assumed that only about 2,000 copies of this car were produced during the series production. The Model 135 was developed and put into production by the automotive company Delahaye based in Tours, France, under the responsibility of engineer Jean Francois. The car was powered by one of two engines: a 3.2-liter 6-cylinder engine with 110 HP or a 6-cylinder engine with a capacity increased to 3.6 liters and 160 HP. Interestingly, the car was offered with bodies from various manufacturers, such as: Franay, Henri Chapron or Figoni-Falaschi. The Delahaye 135 achieved some market success and successfully competed in motor racing, winning the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1938.
