Matt paint

Acrylic paint placed in a 20 ml plastic bottle with a harder white closure. The advantage of the bottle is that it has been factory-fitted with a dropper, which makes it easier to precisely measure the amount of paint while pouring it into the airbrush or cuvette. Moreover, its closure is airtight and thus hinders the evaporation of the paint in question, extending its possible storage time. The presented substance turns out to be useful for painting especially soft plastics (e.g. polystyrene), but also styrene resins, steel or soft metals. It can be used both for airbrush and brush work. In the case of the latter option, you can use brushes with natural bristles (for example:Sable Hair Brush size 0 ,Sable Hair Brush size 1 orPêdzel okr±g³y z w³osiem z czerwonego sobola 0 ) , but those with synthetic bristles (for example:Brush Synthetic Round size 1 ,Brush Synthetic Flat size 000 orRound Brush No.6 ). Of course, as with any other paint applied with a brush, it is recommended to apply 2-3 thinner layers rather than 1 thicker. Before opening it (especially the first one!), It is recommended to mix it well, so that all its ingredients (i.e. pigment, binder and solvent) are combined with each other. The minimum mixing time may be 30 to 45 seconds. As with many other paints, it is recommended to apply it to a model surface that is dry and preferably degreased as well. It is assumed that the time of its complete drying on the surface of a plastic model should not exceed a few hours, and it depends on the ambient temperature and the thickness of the applied layer. Due to the fact that it has a relatively high density (similar, for example, to the "Valleyo Model Color" series), it has relatively good coverage, but at the same time it is recommended to dilute it before painting. When preparing the paint for work with a brush, you can try to dilute it in a ratio of 1: 3, 1: 4 or 1: 5, that is, use 3, 4 or 5 parts of the paint for 1 part of water. However, it is worth remembering that its excessive dilution may deteriorate its adhesion, and in extreme cases, the dried paint may fall off the model. You can also try to use specialized preparations for its dilution, such as, for example:71061 Airbrush Thinner ,X-20A Acrylic Thinner / Rozcieñczalnik do farb akrylowych orT001 Acrylic Doctor Thinner . Of course, before working with the airbrush, it is also recommended to dilute it properly. Mixing the paint in question and any of the above-mentioned preparations is best done in a paint tray (for example:ALUMINIUM PALLET (10 WELLS) ,Mr.Paint Tray 10szt. orPaleta do mieszania farb 18x8,5cm ). Of course, the presented paint, like other acrylic paints, can be successfully used when working with the so-called a wet palette - such as:Mokra Paleta orWET PALETTE . The use of such a tool will significantly extend the working time - even up to several hours. However, after finishing the painting with the paint in question, it is recommended to wipe the dropper on the bottle with a paper towel or a cotton swab in order to remove its excess and only then close it carefully. On the other hand, cleaning of the tools can be done with ordinary tap water or - in the case of larger dirt - with specialized liquids, such as, for example:CLEANER (100ml) orPERFECT CLEANER .
