Farman F.190 was a French, multi-role civilian aircraft, which was flown in 1928, and during its production, about 160 machines of this type in various versions were created. The plane, in its basic version, was 10 meters long with a wingspan of 14 meters. The drive was provided by a single Gnome et Rhone 5Ba engine with a maximum power of 230 HP. The maximum speed was 185 km / h, and the range - 800 kilometers.
The F.190 model was developed at the Avions Farman aviation plant in the second half of the 1920s as a relatively light transport, passenger and link machine. It uses a fixed landing gear, closed pilot and passenger cabin, as well as a high wing system. It was relatively popular in the early 1930s, due to the relatively low operating costs, decent reliability and durability of the entire structure. One of its users was, for example, the Air France airline. In the course of production, many versions were created, which, however, differed from each other only in terms of the power unit used. Among the most interesting is the F.197S model powered by a 240hp Lorraine 7me engine, which served as a sanitary aircraft.
