The Honda RC211V is a Japanese racing and sports motorcycle that was manufactured by the Honda subsidiary Honda Racing Corporation and was part of a long series of RC motorcycles. The RC211V model was presented to the public for the first time in 2002, and its serial production was carried out in 2002-2006.
The RC211V model was developed and put into production to replace the very successful NSR500 motorcycle and in connection with the need to adapt to the new 500 class racing regulations (new name since 2002 - MotoGP). The main difference between the two models was the engine used - the Honda RC211V used an engine with a greater number of cylinders, valves per cylinder and a larger displacement. In 2003, the engine power was increased from 200 hp to 240 hp. The Honda RC211V has proven to be a very successful bike beyond doubt. She took part in 82 GP races, winning as many as 48 of them, and Valentino Rossi and Nick Hayden won the World Championships in 2002, 2003 and 2006. However, she won the Constructors' World Championship four times.
