The Moto Guzzi California is an Italian chopper motorcycle that was presented to the public for the first time in 1971. Its serial production started in the same year and is still going on. In the course of production, modernized engines of various displacements were used as the drive, but they were always 2-cylinder, air-cooled units with two valves per cylinder. The California model was developed by the Italian company Moto Guzzi for use by the Los Angeles Police who wanted to replace the V7 with a new motorcycle. The new vehicle received, among other things, a bulletproof windshield, radio and special lighting. It proved to be a successful motorcycle and was soon used by other police units. He was also quite successful on the civil market. In 2017, another version of the California model was presented, called the MGX21 Flying Fortress, which is largely based on the California 1400 version. The propulsion in this case was an engine with a capacity of 1380 cm3 and 95 HP.
