The Humber Snipe is a British passenger car from the interwar period and World War II. The car was produced in two periods: 1930-1940 and 1945-1948. The cars of the first production series were powered by 6-cylinder 3.5-liter engines. The Snipe model was presented to the general public in 1929, and in the Humber Limited offer it replaced the Humber 20/55 car. It was also a complement to the Pullman model. Considering that the presentation of the car almost coincided with the outbreak of the Great Depression, its further sale should be considered a considerable commercial success, which resulted not only from skilful advertising, but also the high quality of the car itself and modern - as for the 1930s - styling. . It is also worth adding that during World War II, many vehicles of this type were confiscated and served as staff and service vehicles in the British Army. One of its most famous users was Field Marshal Bernard Law Montgomery, who used a total of two Humber Snipe's in the period 1942-1945.
