Packard Type Number 18 is an American passenger car that was presented to the public for the first time in 1912. The car was powered by a single 5.7 liter 4-cylinder 26hp engine. The Type Number 18 model was developed by the Packard Motor Car Company, which had existed under that name since 1903. The founder of the company was James Ward Packard, who opened his first car manufacturing company in 1899. Very soon, the company began to manufacture, for those times, luxury passenger cars, ensuring the highest possible comfort of travel and intended to give prestige to the owners. The same philosophy of the company's operation was also followed by Packard Type Number 18, which cost about 4500 dollars per piece, which at that time was a very large sum. Undoubtedly, however, the Packard Type Number 18 was one of the most exclusive cars on the American market, offered just before the outbreak of World War I.
