This atypical weapon was rear-loaded and fired projectiles approximately 1.5 meters long. A traditional missile (Raketensprenggranate 4581) carried a warhead weighing 125 kilograms, with different types of missiles being used - including those with a cumulative warhead designed to destroy particularly strong points. The total mass of the missile, including the propelling charge, reached 340-350 kg, and the initial speed was only 45 m / s, but after starting the rocket engine it increased to 250 m / s. It is worth adding that the stock of ammunition in the Sturmtiger car was only 18 rounds.
