Ursus C-45 is a Polish wheeled agricultural tractor (tractor) from the post-war period. The first prototypes were presented on May 1, 1947, and serial production continued in the period 1947-1954. The main producer was Zak³ady Przemys³owego Ursus in Warsaw. A single 1-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 45 HP served as the drive.
With the end of World War II, there was an urgent need to manufacture new agricultural tractors in Poland, which would have a relatively simple structure and possibly high engine power. Efforts were also made to reduce the costs of possible production as much as possible. Finally, it was decided to copy the German Lanz Bulldog D9506 tractor, many of which were located within our country after 1945. The team led by Eng. Edward Habich. The work progressed relatively quickly and mass production started already in 1947. The Ursus C-45 was initially produced only with steel rim wheels. Tires for wheels appeared in the course of serial production of the tractor. The tractor was replaced in the mid-1950s by the Ursus C-451 model.
