Savoia-Marchetti SM.75 Marsupiale was an Italian passenger and transport plane, which was flown in 1937, and during its production, which lasted in the years 1937-1943, about 90 machines of this type of various versions were created. The plane, in its basic version, was 21.59 meters long with a wingspan of 29.7 meters. The drive was provided by three Alfa Romeo 126 engines with a maximum power of 750 HP or three Piaggio P.XI engines with a power of 1000 HP each. The top speed was 369 km / h. In the military version, the on-board armament consisted of 1 to 2 7.7 mm machine guns.

The Savoia-Marchetti SM.75 Marsupiale was originally developed as a passenger plane capable of carrying up to 30 passengers over a distance of 1000-1200 kilometers. The design of the aircraft was a vivid reference to the SM.73 model, but it received new engines and a retractable landing gear. The main civilian recipient is Ala Littoria, which has purchased at least 38 aircraft of this type. In the period 1939-940, production of a version adapted to the needs of the Italian Air Force began, which mainly received on-board weapons and a slightly changed guard. Airplanes during World War II were used for typical transport tasks, as well as for training paratroopers. The main foreign recipient of the Savoia-Marchetti SM.75 aircraft was Hungary.
