It was used on a relatively large scale on the PANAVIA Tornado GR.1 and GR.4 machines, as well as - in a somewhat improvised way - on BAE Harrier GR.3 airplanes in progress Falklands War (1982). It is assumed that in the years 1979-1996 about 300 copies of this system were created.
