Sever-2 (also known as Pobieda Sever-2) were Soviet aerosans from the post-war period. The vehicle was powered by a single AI-14 engine 260 hp. The maximum speed exceeded 50 km / h when driving on snow. The vehicle did not have any on-board weapons. Concept work on the Sever-2 aerosols began in 1957, and their goal was to create a new vehicle capable of delivering mail or supplies in the far north and east of the USSR (e.g. Siberia, Yakutia or Kamchatka). It was assumed that the new aerosans would be able to carry up to 500 kg of cargo and would have a heated driver's cabin. To shorten the research and development time, the body and many components of the GAZ-M-20 Pobieda car were used, and the proven aircraft engine was added to the rear of the car. Finally, a relatively simple vehicle was created, which, however, met the requirements set for it. The production of the vehicle started in 1959, and about 100 Sever-2 aerosols were produced during it.
