Suzuki GSX 1300R Hayabusa is a Japanese motorcycle that can be classified as a sports or sports touring motorcycle. It was first presented to a wide audience in 1999. Its serial production started in the same year and is still going on - it was located in the city of Toyokawa, Japan.

The Hayabusa model was developed and put into production to strengthen Suzuki Motor Corporation's position in the sports motorcycle segment and to outclass the Honda CBR1100XX as the fastest series-produced motorcycle in the world. To achieve this goal, the best possible aerodynamic properties of the new bike were used, but most of all, a powerful 173 HP engine was used, which allowed the Suzuki Hayabusa to accelerate to ... 312 km / h! However, in 2001, the Suzuki concern slightly lowered the motorcycle's performance. Two generations of this motorcycle appeared in the course of serial production, the 2nd of which debuted in 2008.
