The FVM O-1 Tummelisa was a Swedish training and training plane, in a wooden biplane structure, from the interwar period. The drive was provided by a single engine Thulin A. with a power of 90 HP. The prototype flight took place in 1920. The plane entered the line in 1921. In total, about 30 aircraft of this type were built. The machine did not have a permanent on-board armament.
The FVM O-1 Tummelis was initially created under the designation E.1 as a private initiative of the Swedish aviation popularizer Gost von Porat. However, it was not until 1926 that the serial production of these aircraft began, commissioned by the Swedish Air Force, which, moreover, were formed in the same year. The serial machines turned out to be very successful: they were characterized by great piloting properties and a large range of flight safety. They remained in the line until 1935. Until now, no original aircraft of this type has survived.
