The U-125 A is a modern Japanese military sea rescue aircraft in the low wing configuration. The machine was based on the British Hawker 800 civilian plane produced by the Hawker Beechcraft aviation company, which was flown in 1983. The U-125 A, compared to the Hawker 800 machine, is distinguished primarily by much larger windows for observation of the sea area and the installation of specialized equipment, such as a flare ejector and light flares, a Toshiba search radar or thermal detectors. The avionics of the machine, especially the means of communication, have also been completely changed. It is worth noting that the U-125 A planes cooperate with specialized versions of the Sikorsky UH-60J helicopters in the Marine Rescue Wing based in the city of Sakayama. It is worth adding that the Hawker 800 version (exactly the XP model) is used by the South Korean Air Force as an electronic reconnaissance and reconnaissance machine.
