Hluboka Castle is a building located in the Czech Republic, in the southern part of the country in the so-called South Bohemia country. The first references to a defensive structure in the town of Hluboka appear as early as in the 13th century, which was erected by order of the Czech rulers of the Pøemyslid family - perhaps Pøemysl Otakar I or Wenceslaus I. Throughout the Middle Ages and a large part of the modern era, the building served primarily military functions . However, in the 1830s, there was a very far-reaching reconstruction of the castle in the neo-Gothic style, which turned it into one of the most magnificent and magnificent residences in the then Czech Republic. In the middle of that century, on the initiative of the Schwarzenberg family, the castle was enriched with a wonderful landscape park. At present, the Hluboka Castle has 140 rooms and as many as 11 towers.
